  • Half lemon
  • A pan(to boil water)
  • A strainer

In a pan add water and bring it to boil.

Once the water starts boiling, add cut lemongrass and lower the flame.

Keep it for 5 mins on low flame.

Using a strainer, strain the tea, into a cup.

Squeeze some lemon juice and add honey. Mix it well.

You can have it hot or add some ice cubes and enjoy it as refreshing cold tea.

  • You can cut and dry the lemongrass, and fill in tea bags (like green tea bags) or store them in air tight container then use it whenever you want.
  • Apply lemongrass on your skin, the healing properties in it can soothe the skin, prevent acne, and itchiness.
  • Or use lemongrass tea ( without adding honey)as a toner, just fill in a spray container and store it refrigerator and spray it after you cleanse the skin.
