We all love Summer, for ice creams, Mangoes, vacation, chilled juices and so much fun! While Summer is all fun, sometimes we feel so exhausted and drained out of energy coz of scorching heat. Here’s my today’s blog to beat the heat with Watermelon juice in a refreshing way!

Watermelon is the wonderful nature’s gift that help us maintain our body temperature, it has more than 90% water. Packed with fiber, vitamins and minerals and zero fat. So, here’s a super tasty watermelon juice recipe that will help you feel refreshed this summer.

The anti oxidants present in it protect our skin from damage by free radicals and harmful UV rays. Watermelon are also great for those struggling to shed extra kilos. It keeps us full without adding more calories. So, let’s take a look at the recipe.

Beat The Heat With Watermelon Juice


  • Watermelon 1/2
  • Lime 1/2


  • You need fresh watermelon, cut it in half. We just need half melon to make two glasses of juice. You can keep the other half in refrigerator and use it later.
  • Make few more small slices of watermelon. Now using a spoon or knife scoop out the pulp into juicer.
  • Squeeze half lime in it and blend it to make beautiful red yummy juice.
  • You can sprinkle little pepper if you like 🙂  ta daa!! Your juice is ready! It does not take more than five minutes.

Watermelon juice is also great for skin when applied topically. It adds in lot of moisture and nourishes the skin. Dip a cotton ball in fresh watermelon juice and apply over face. Leave it for 5 mins and rinse with cold water. The juice also acts as a good toner, closing the pores and keeps the face fresh and oil free.
