Night Time Skin Care Routine For Healthy Glowing Skin

We all religiously do our morning skin care routine, but as the day ends we all feel tired and inactive, we just hop on bed, skipping our night time skin care. But skipping this part of skin care gives rise to many skin problems later, so night time skin care routine is equally important as morning time.




During day our skin gets busy fighting pollution, harsh UV rays and many other things. And night, is the time when our skin gets time heal itself, repair the cells and rejuvenate itself. So, if you wish to get the beautiful glowingly skin the next day don’t go to bed with your make up on. Here’s a simple night time skin care routine that I follow for healthy glowing skin.

Remove the Make Up

Make up can add ones beauty but it can cause problems too, if kept on light long. It can clog the pores, causing pimples, itchy dry skin. Use a good quality make up remover, to get your make up off your face and neck area. I am currently using Rival de loop, with Micellin water( From Germany). But Garnier Miceller is also my one of my favorites too, and easily available in India.

Cleansing

Even though we have removed our make up, our skin is still left with tiny make up particles that can irritate your skin, and oily skin like mine very requires this step. I like to use a gentle but effective face wash to get it complete squeezy clean, and I use this Neutogena Oil Free Face Wash, which clear all the oil and dirt.

Tip- Use cold water instead of opting for Luke warm water at night, to wash your face this closes all the open pores naturally. Or you can just rub some ice over face for the same reason.

Exfoliating

It is necessary to exfoliate the skin at least once a week to get rid off the black heads and white heads. I usually use my home made Beasan(chikpea flour) and yogurt mix for exfoliating, and sometimes use as per the season’s requirement. Because it’s summer, I am currently using this Himalaya Herbals Tan Removal Orange Scrub.




Serum

I like to keep this part simple, by just rubbing a few drops of pure Argan oil or Avocado oil. These oils are completely natural and they nourish the skin and keeps them healthy. You can also opt for a good branded facial night serum.

Moisturizer/Night Cream

Night creams help repair and rejuvenate the skin while we sleep. I am currently using Lotus Herbals Nutritive Night Cream. It doesn’t break out my oily skin. And many a times I just apply a simple Aloe vera gel and it makes my skin look plump and fresh next morning.

Under Eye Cream

Lip Care

And lastly finish it off with lip care. I like to use Himalaya Herbals Litchi Lip Balm, it has a sweet smell of Litchi and keeps the lips protected and moisturized.
