Neutrogena Fine Fairness Brightening Serum – Review

Hi Beauties!
Today i m going to share my views on Neutrogena Fine Fairness Brightening Serum. Serum is something you must add in your beauty regime once you are in your mid twenties. And an anti-aging serum once you are in late twenties this is what most skin experts recommend. I am a big fan of Neutrogena products, it is actually an American brand. I have used face wash and Toner and they worked very well and so thought of trying out their serum as well. Serums should be applied after cleansing the face and before moisturizing.

Product Looks 😉

This serum is a thick white liquid which comes in a stylish silver- white cylindrical glass bottle. It has a pump to let the product out. Pump mechanism perfectly secures the product from leaking out and also ensures one gets only the desired amount of product, and thus prevents any wastage. The pump when twisted locks serum and it also has a transparent cap on the top which makes it absolutely travel friendly.

What Are The Ingredients?

There are many ingredients listed, watch out in the swatch below.

The important active ingredients are Retinol and Vitamin C (Ascorbic acid) which reduces the appearance of dark spots and marks on the skin. This is a water based formula and completely oil free, thus making it very much suitable for acne prone skin.

What The Product Says?

Product claims to- double the skin’s whitening power for even toned lasting translucent fairness. This breakthrough high penetrating formula penetrates beneath the skin surface and deactivates melanin production at the source for a renewed visibly brightened skin tone. Powered by upgraded Neutrogena Healthy- White Complex with pure Retinol and Lily, stubborn dark spots are visibly lightened for a lasting even toned translucent fairness from within. Clinically proven to show visible results in just 3 weeks.

How To Use?

Apply it twice a day over cleansed face before moisturizer. spread it evenly on the skin surface and lightly massage, avoid rubbing. Let the product penetrate into the skin.

Is It Heavy on Pocket?

This Serum comes for INR799 for a bottle of 30ml. And 2-3 pumps of this product is enough for face and neck area. One bottle of it lasts for about 3+ months.

My Thoughts On – Neutrogena Fine Fairness Brightening Serum

This Serum is very light on the skin and gets quickly absorbed. It contains Retinol and Vitamin C which are great for acne prone skin. It also reduces pimple marks and dark spots. I have been using it for more than a month and it really works amazing. It has brightened the skin tone, reduced the appearance of pimple marks too. It is water based product and is great for oily skinned beauties and does not cause breakouts. The texture of the serum leaves the skin moist and translucent with a very light feather soft feel. It does not contain SPF and so don’t forget to apply
moisturizer and Sunscreen when you step out in Sun. So, yes! Oily skin and acne prone skinned beauties can definitely try this out. But for dry skin this may not be an good option as it has Retinol (which may irritate skin, cause peeling) which may worsen the dryness.

What’s good about it?

  • Quickly absorbing and very light non -greasy serum.
  • Works on all skin types.
  • It is non-comedogenic (Does not clog the pores.
  • Brightens the skin tone.
  • Reduces the dark spots and marks.
  • Comes in a travel friendly bottle with a pump.

What’s not so good about it?

  • It does not contain SPF.
  • You need to wait almost a month to get good results.

I’m using this for four days.. And now I can see little skin peeling and just after application I feel burning sensation…. Is it ok for my skin?

Hi, I think you should stop using it. It could be due to Retinol, which is present in it. Your skin seems to be allergic/ sensitive towards it.

i would suggest first check with a dermatologist, if your spots are increasing rather than experimenting by yourself.
