Lacto Calamine Daily Nourishing Lotion Review

Lacto Calamine Daily Nourishing Lotion Review

Hello there,

Today in my post am going to review Lacto Calamine Daily Nourishing Lotion.
Lacto Calamine comes with two variants one with Oil control and other is Hydration. Oil control is for Oily to Normal skin beauties and Hydration is for dry skin. Lacto Calamine Lotion is quite a popular skin care product available in daily nourishing lotions category. And today I m reviewing only the Lacto Calamine with Oil Control.

Product Looks!!

Product comes in a plastic bottle with wide mouth, a regular rotate and open cap. The packaging is not very impressive, as you don’t have a pump mechanism or even a tube to squeeze the product out. So most of the times you don’t get exactly the required product in your hands. Coming to the lotion, it’s very thin in texture. Gets easily absorbed into the skin. It has a pink tint to it which even outs any patches on the face.

What The Product Says?

Product claims that it is a water based formula that absorbs excessive oil and gives a problem free clear skin.
It is a non greasy product and alcohol free. It contains certain ingredients with benefits given below
Kaolin – absorbs excessive oil secretion and removes acne causing dead cells.
Zinc Oxide – helps unclog pores by preventing bacterial growth.
Glycerin – prevents excessive drying of the skin and retains natural moisture.

Is It Heavy On Pocket?

The product comes in three different sizes, 30ml, 60ml, 120ml. The bottle I have is 120ml and costs INR 160. If you want to give this product a try and not sure whether it will suit your skin then go for the small bottle.

My Thoughts On Lacto Calamine Daily Nourishing Lotion with Oil Control

Lacto Calamine Daily Nourishing Lotion Review

This is my second bottle, and I totally like the product. It works perfectly for my Oily skin by completely balancing the excessive oil. Gives a Matt effect on the face after application this may be because of the kaolin it has. Has a beautiful pink color which gives an even skin tone. It smoothly hides all the patches or marks on the skin, and you can actually give a break to your foundation routine  some times. Keeps the oil control for a longer time and does not clog the pores so it’s even beneficial to acne prone skin as well. The only thing that disappoints me is the packaging. You often get extra product on your hands, which gets wasted. Also it doesn’t contain SPF, so get some sunscreen applied along  before stepping out. Over all it’s a great moisturizer for Oily skin types, for dry skin you can go with the Hydration variant of Lacto Calamine.

What’s Good About It?

It’s non greasy formula.
It’s water based and does not contain any oil so, its great for Oily skin.
It has a Matt effect and absorbs excess oil.
Keep skin moisturised.
Evens the skin tone.

What’s Not So Good About It?

  • Packaging- Most of product gets wasted, as it does not have pump.
  • It does not have SPF.
