Garnier Fructis Oil-in-cream oil replacement cream review

Hello Beauties,

Today I will be reviewing Garnier’s Oil-in cream oil replacement cream. I was actually looking for something that would nourish my hair without leaving them oily especially when I am travelling and don’t have time for the really long oil massage process. I have dry hair and oily scalp and I completely believe in oiling in my hair care routine but sometimes we do have those days when we feel lazy following overnight oiling and shampoo routine, and for that reason wanted to find some solution, and when i heard about Garnier’s oil-in-cream I felt this seems to be an option.

Product Description

Garnier is a UK based company and has wide range of beauty products. I like the shampoo and conditioner and they seem to be of good quality products for hair. So, thought of using this Garnier product too. It comes in bright yellow tube with a flip-open lid with white cream very light for hair. Its a plastic tube and comes in three different sizes 50gms, 100gms, 200gms pack. It is the combination of 3 oils in a non-sticky light cream format which does not leave the hair oily and greasy.

Product claims

The product claims to replace the oil with goodness of coconut, almond, and olive oil. It gives  triple nutrition to hair. It claims to give nourishment to hair with a non-sticky cream that

-pleasant long lasting fragrance.

How to use

Before Wash-Massage into hair and scalp. Oil-in-cream intensely nourishes your hair and transforms it.

After wash-Wash your hair with Garnier Fructis Triple nutrition shampoo and conditioner. Use on hair lengths for easy manageability and styling.

Overnight-Massage into hair and scalp and leave overnight. Wash away with Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition Shampoo and conditioner for intense nourishment.

My Experience

As i mentioned before i have oily scalp and dry hair, this product did not leave my hair and scalp oily or sticky. I have used it before and after wash and it worked well in both situations. It helped me to tame down my frizzy dry hair. Its good detangler as well, after wash i have just applied it to my towel dry hair and it made the comb to just run through the strands easily. ¬†And using it before the wash is just like oiling your hair 10 mins before bath and then shampooing it off, i didn’t feel much of the difference between oiling and using this cream in this process. Whereas about using it overnight, I was very much afraid of leaving the chemical based cream in my scalp and hair overnight and could not imagine the damage it could do, so never tried it. Its not a herbal product and has chemicals, just we can make out from the ingredients list and also because the fragrance it has.I liked the fragrance, its not that intense and fruity fresh fragrance and smooth hair will just make you to run your fingers run through the hair often. Whenever you are in hurry to run to work or in home chores and this is the best option to use after hair wash to de-tangle the hair and for easily managing them.

Price-INR35 for 50 gms, INR60 for 100gms and INR100 for 200gms. It has a shelf life of 36 months from the date of manufacturing.

Its light cream and easy to use.

It has very mild fruity fragrance.

It does not leave hair greasy and scalp oily.

Its very much travel friendly simple tube packing.

Help us to tame the frizzy hair, making it more manageable.

Comes at a very much affordable price in three different sizes.

Loaded with chemicals and is not good for scalp.

It may not be very helpful for very curly hair as its very light.

Its a good solution for hair nourishment without oiling the hair. However leaving it overnight in hair and scalp just like oiling is not recommended as it has many chemicals in it. You can definitely try this product, its super cheap too.
