You might have seen these seeds in the super market many a times, these seeds look very similar to Chia seeds. These seeds when soaked in water swell almost double their size and form a soft gelatinous outer lining. Let’s look at their benefits.

So let’s get to the recipe. This is a cool lemonade with Basil seeds, so you can either add it to your breakfast or you can give a skip to your cold coffee in evening.

  • Lemon or Lime 1
  • Honey 2 tap
  • Basil seeds 1 tbsp
  • Water 1 glass
  • Salt a pinch

Preparation of Nutritious Sabja Seeds or Basil Seeds Recipe

  • Take a that of Basil seeds, check them if any impurities and then wash them carefully.
  • In a glass of water, soak these seeds for about half an hour.
  • Once these seeds are soft and swollen fully, squeeze in some Lime juice.
  • Now to this, add Honey and salt.
  • Mix them well, and enjoy. You can use chilled water, to make super chilled lemonade.
