Hair Oil For Faster Hair Growth, Healthy, Shiny, Dandruff Free, Thick Hair

Hair fall is one such problem that almost everyone faces. The culprit can be nutrients deficiency, dandruff, medication, pollution and many others. Many women tend to loose hair after delivery.Using any chemical based products could even worsen the condition. So, why not take the help of miracle natural products.
India is famous for Ayurveda. Ayurveda is an ancient art of healing by using all natural elements. And in this hair oil we are going to use all natural products to deal with hair fall problem. So, lets see how to make homemade-ayurvedic hair oil for faster hair growth, healthy shiny thick hair.

For this hair oil we are going to need

  • Coconut oil 200 ml
  • Fenugreek seeds 2 tablespoon
  • Dried Amla/Indian Gooseberry 3-4
  • Curry leaves 1/2 cup

Coconut oil

Coconut oil has stimulates hair growth by penetrating deep into the scalp.
It keeps the scalp healthy by fighting dandruff, and fungal and bacterial infection in scalp.It adds shine and luster to the hair. Massaging this oil improves blood circulation to scalp thereby promoting hair growth.

I am using Patanjali coconut oil here as I find it good and it ces at a reasonable price. But you can use any coconut oil of that you like.

Fenugreek seeds


Our next ingredient is fenugreek seeds. These seeds are a good source of proteins. They contain Vitamin C, Iron, Potassium which help to strengthen the hair. It also nourishes the hair.
They are effective in preventing hair loss.The anti-microbial properties in it treats the follicular problems.

Curry leaves

Next ingredient is Curry leaves. Curry leaves prevents premature graying of hair. Curry leaves are rich in anti-oxidants, which keeps scalp healthy and the hair nourished . They are rich in proteins and beta-carotene which prevents the hair loss problems. Curry leaves help to reduce the itchiness and irritation in scalp. Curry leaves are also rich in vitamins and minerals which makes the hair and scalp healthy and prevents split ends.

Amla or Indian gooseberry

Our last ingredient is Amla or Indian gooseberry. Alma is rich in vitamin C and anti-oxidants which maintains
the black color in hair. It conditions the hair and controls the dandruff problem and hence it is used in variety
of hair care products. It contains iron and many other important nutrients which reduces hair fall and thinning of hair.

Preparation Method

  • Now lets us see how to prepare this hair oil.
    Take a pan, and heat it. Add about 200 ml of coconut oil.
  • Once the oil is hot add curry leaves. And simmer the flame.
  • Let the leaves turn little bit golden brown in color.
    Once they start turning golden brown color add 2 tablespoon of Fenugreek seeds.
  • Stir it and let the fenugreek seeds also turn golden brown. Do not let the curry leaves and fenugreek seeds turn black.
  • Once you see that it turning smoky, turn off the flame.
  • Lastly add dried Amla or gooseberry to it.
  • Gooseberry /Amla contains high amount of vitamin c, and so we add it only after the flame is turned off, so that we can retain its vitamins.
  • Let the oil cool for about 1 hour, so that it gets completely infused with nutrients from our ingredients.
  • Finally strain the oil into a glass bottle and seal it.

Apply this oil twice a week, massage the scalp with this oil for about 15-20 mins,
keep it overnight and wash off next day. You can notice reduced hair fall, and faster hair growth.
