Hair Care Hacks For Strong Bouncy Hair In Winter
Winter is on its way, and we love this season for chilly evenings with hot coffee, styling with woolen scarves, hot chocolates, Christmas and much more. Well you know that while in midst of all these happy things our hair suffers from this, very cold weather!
The cold air lacks humidity and takes away all the moisture from the hair leaving it dry, rough and dull. But little hair care can make hair strong and bouncy even in this tough weather too 🙂 Here are few hair care hacks for strong bouncy hair in winter.
Use Moisturizing Shampoo
Our hair needs extra moisture in winters, cold dry air can leave hair dry and damaged. Shampoo and hair cleansers can be really harsh on our hair. Choose a shampoo which is moisturizing too. Which is gentle and would make hair soft and bouncy.
Blow Drying Hair
You can’t step out with your wet locks, because its winter. So go with the blow dryer but you can use the cold temp settings. Too much heat can damage the hair, so low temp setting can avoid this problem.
Hair Nourishment Mask
Go for a natural homemade hair mask that can provide essential nutrients to hair.
Avocado, Honey and Coconut Oil Hair mask
Mix in three ingtedients an Avocado, a tbsp of raw Honey and a table spoon of extra virgin coconut oil. Mix till smooth paste and before shower, apply it to scalp and hair eithet with a brush or hand. Leave it for 10 mins and wash it off. Thos mask gives extra strength and volume to the hair.
Mix in different oils and pamper your scalp and hair with a wonderful massage. You can mix cold pressed extra virgin coconut oil, almond oil, avocado oil, argan oil. Mix two or three oils, little warm them up for a min in microwave (just warm, not too hot) and massage on the scalp. All these oils are rich in vitamin e which is important for healthy and strong hair.
Hair serum are great for your hair especially during winter, as they protect hair from cold temp. You can choose natural oil which is very light textured such as Argan oil or cold pressed organic Avocado oil.
We all this very basic thing that water is very important for our hair and skin. Water is responsible for flushing out all the toxins from body and keeping body healthy. But during winter, due to cold weather, we either skip or drink very less water. Water hydrates not only our body but also scalp and hair and so we can’t skip it. We can include clear soups, fresh fruit juices, fruit infused water etc.
