Biotique Bio Kelp Protein Shampoo For Falling Hair Review
Have you tried any of the Biotique’s shampoo yet? I recently got my hands on this Biotique Bio Kelp Protein Shampoo For Falling Hair. I shared a post on Biotique Hair Serum sometime back which was meant to stop hair fall(check this link —> Biotique Mountain Ebony Hair Serum for detailed review), and it was then the SA at the supermarket suggested me to try out this shampoo too with it, as they give better results.
Biotique uses Advanced Ayurveda for their skincare and hair care products. It claims to have 100% botanical extracts which are organically pure and preservatives free. And this is why I am less hesitant to try out Biotique’s products.
Product comes in the same classic Biotique packaging, a semi transparent plastic bottle with a green lid. You can notice the bottle color being blue and this is actually because of the shampoo color. Yes! The shampoo comes dark blue color. The screw open cap closes tightly and no worries of leakage. It’s available in different sizes as well.

My Thoughts On Biotique Bio Kelp Protein Shampoo For Falling Hair
Biotique Bio Kelp Protein Shampoo claims to be an intensive hair growth treatment and has complete botanical extracts and that’s the reason I thought of giving it a shot. Also, I have been trying out some of the hair care products to deal with my hair fall problem.
When I read the ingredients, I was happy to see all natural ingredients, no preservatives, no perfume, no sulfate. At the same time didn’t understand why it got blue color. It has a weird herbal smell with the notes of menthol but I felt it was ok as there were no other chemicals added to kill that natural herbal smell. Also the smell faded away few minutes after wash.
The shampoo didn’t lather up much, so I tried mixing it with water and that trick worked well. I have oily scalp and dry hair, and this shampoo was able to cleanse my scalp well without drying out my hair. But sadly, I didn’t find a solution to my major concern of hair growth or dealing with hair fall.
What’s Good About It?
- Natural ingredients.
- Free from sulfates.
- Nice packaging.
- Free of preservatives, harsh chemicals.
- Organically pure.
- Reasonable price.
- Good for normal regular use.
What’s Not So Good About It?
- Doesn’t keep up the claims of hair growth.
- Some can find smell little irritating.
If you want a good herbal shampoo for regular use free of sulfates, chemicals for your hair it’s definitely worth a try for that. But if you are looking for a shampoo to fight hair fall or promote hair growth, then you need to find something else!
